3. Equipment Rental Services

3.1 Booking and Reservations

Equipment bookings are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion. Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of:

• Completed booking form with accurate information
• Payment of required deposit
• Written confirmation from SemidBrais

3.2 Rental Periods

Rental periods begin when equipment is collected or delivered and end when equipment is returned to our facility or collected by our representatives. Late returns incur additional charges calculated on a daily basis at the agreed rental rate.

3.3 Deposit Requirements

A deposit is required for all equipment rentals. Deposit amounts vary based on equipment value and rental duration. Deposits are refundable upon return of equipment in satisfactory condition, subject to inspection.

3.4 Payment Terms

Payment must be made in accordance with the following terms:

• Deposit: Payable upon booking confirmation
• Balance: Due before equipment collection/delivery unless credit terms are agreed
• Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, credit card, debit card
• Late payment may result in suspension of services and interest charges

3.5 Equipment Condition and Inspection

All equipment is thoroughly tested before rental. Upon collection/delivery, you must:

• Inspect equipment for damage or defects
• Report any issues immediately
• Sign acceptance documentation

Equipment is deemed accepted in satisfactory condition if no issues are reported within 24 hours of collection/delivery.

3.6 Customer Responsibilities

During the rental period, you are responsible for:

• Safe and proper use of equipment according to manufacturer specifications
• Protecting equipment from damage, loss, or theft
• Not subletting, lending, or transferring equipment to third parties
• Returning equipment clean and in the same condition as received
• Reporting any faults or damage immediately
• Maintaining appropriate insurance coverage (if required)

3.7 Equipment Damage, Loss, or Theft

You are liable for any damage, loss, or theft of equipment during the rental period. Charges will apply for:

• Repair costs for damaged equipment
• Replacement costs for lost or stolen equipment
• Loss of rental income during repair/replacement periods

We strongly recommend obtaining appropriate insurance coverage for rented equipment.

3.8 Cancellations and Modifications

Cancellation and modification policies are as follows:

• More than 14 days before rental: Full refund of deposit
• 7-14 days before rental: 50% refund of deposit
• Less than 7 days before rental: No refund
• Modifications: Subject to availability and may incur administrative fees

3.9 Delivery and Collection

We offer delivery and collection services across the United Kingdom. Terms include:

• Delivery fees calculated based on distance and equipment quantity
• Scheduled delivery/collection times are estimates, not guarantees
• Customer must ensure someone is available to receive/return equipment
• Delivery to accessible locations only; special access may incur additional charges

4. Equipment Sales

4.1 Product Information

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and specifications. However:

• Product images are for illustration purposes and may vary from actual items
• Specifications are subject to manufacturer changes
• We reserve the right to correct errors in product information

4.2 Pricing

All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your purchase is the price displayed at the time of order confirmation.

4.3 Order Acceptance

Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders due to:

• Product unavailability
• Pricing errors
• Suspected fraudulent transactions
• Failure to meet payment terms

4.4 Delivery of Purchased Equipment

Delivery terms for purchased equipment:

• Standard delivery: 5-10 business days

5. Technical Support

We provide technical support for rented and purchased equipment subject to the following conditions:

• Support is provided during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00-18:00)
• Support covers equipment setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Support does not cover user error, incompatible third-party equipment, or unauthorized modifications
• Response times are estimates and not guaranteed

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of SemidBrais Professional Equipment or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:
